Special projects

When time allows it I (or my company) try to work on 'special projects'. These are projects without a customer, it only has users. It usualy starts with an idea popping up in my head or a need I noticed online or offline.

These projects don't make a lot of money, but it usualy isn't really the intention of the site/product. I do it for the technical challange, to test new techniques or just to see if it 'can be done'.

There are always a lot of projects 'in development' (these projects have low priority). They will appear here as soon as they are finished. These projects are already done

  • Funny Motivational Posters: In the USA a lot of posters are mode to 'motivate' people in the office or in school to work harder/better. Ofcourse parodies are made, and we collect them on http://www.funnymotivationalposters.net.
  • Grapjes.be (Dutch): A test in SEO with different Drupal modules. This way I didn't have to test on customers of my clients.
  • Ultratop Ringtones (Dutch): This site was built at the time ringtones sales where almost as high as music downloads. It was built to test different advertisment services (such as Google Adwords). We managed to make it succesful enough to make a small profit.
